Another week, another new all-time high for Solana’s tokenized equity supply

Solana’s tokenized equity sector has once again hit a new all-time high market size, with over $465M worth of 1:1-backed stocks trading onchain.
While xStocks boasts the bulk of the sector’s liquidity, onchain data suggests that traders prefer Backpack-issued equities, which consistently witness higher trading volumes.
In true Solana fashion, the chain’s degens are mechanically blending stocks and memecoins together into new financial paradigms, which some commentators are calling the next Trojan Horse bringing the masses onchain.
Stocks on Solana Hit Breakout Velocity
2026 has undoubtedly been the year of RWAs, with the accessibility of 24/7 markets forcing incumbents like the NASDAQ to re-evaluate its trading hours to compete with the permissionless economy.

Amidst this overhaul of the legacy financial system, Solana has emerged as crypto’s primary venue for spot markets, dominating all rivals in terms of trading volume and active wallets. Meanwhile, the total supply of Solana’s tokenized equity market continues to trend up and to the right, consistently breaking new all-time highs and commanding a total market cap of over $465M.
Beyond Solana’s expansive user base and unrivaled spot market execution, the network’s tokenized equity sector is supported by the timely listings of the assets the global economy most desperately wants to trade.
Ecosystem teams like Sunrise DeFi are responding promptly to the demands of onchain market participants. Following the timely listings of memory stocks like $SKHY and $MU, and neocloud firms like $NBIS, Sunrise is branching into other sectors.
With biotech, healthcare, and pharmaceutical companies slated to be some of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI boom, DeFi traders increasingly want exposure to companies like Moderna. After ripping over 174% overnight following the successful trial of a cancer vaccine, $MRNA was listed across Solana DeFi the very same day.
Today, Sunrise DeFi has continued to expand its tokenized stock offering, listing U.S. pharma giant Eli Lilly after onchain traders complained about the limited liquidity currently available in DeFi.
Backpack, Sunrise Dominate Trading Volume
Solana’s flourishing tokenized stock sector owes much of its success to the fierce competition driving each issuer to improve their products and deliver value to users.

While xStocks may boast the vast majority of supply across all assets, capturing 84% of market size, there’s an argument that Backpack Securities has won the hearts of the network’s traders.

Since the SpaceX IPO, Backpack Securities has dominated trading volume across Solana’s tokenized equity sector. Brought onchain via Sunrise DeFi, Backpack-issued assets consistently capture over 50% of weekly volume share, despite representing only 5% of the total asset supply.
While this could be due to a more concentrated range of assets and liquidity among Backpack Securities, the issuer also benefits from incentivized trading campaigns hosted by Frontier Traders.
Beyond typical trading activity, Solana’s more experimental DeFi community is embracing tokenized equities in a bid to manufacture a new kind of asset class.
Stock-memecoin pairings have been gaining momentum across Solana DeFi, prompting traders to theorize that these experiments could serve as a potential onboarding funnel for the next generation of the onchain economy.
