Solana Tokenization Roundup: August 2026

A month when institutional tokenization expanded across funds, equities, commodities, and new onchain asset classes.

  • Published:

August 2026 continued the rapid expansion of tokenization across the Solana ecosystem. Asset managers, financial institutions, and tokenization platforms introduced new products covering equities, money market funds, fixed income, commodities, collectibles, and even AI agents.

Here is everything you might have missed:

August 3: BlackRock Expands Tokenized Funds to Solana

BlackRock launched a tokenized money market fund on Solana designed for stablecoin reserves. The world's largest asset manager introduced the BlackRock Daily Reinvestment Stablecoin Reserve Vehicle (BRSRV) alongside tokenized onchain shares of its existing BlackRock Select Treasury-Based Liquidity Fund (BSTBL).

The move expanded BlackRock's tokenization strategy to Solana while connecting traditional money market instruments with blockchain-based settlement and stablecoin infrastructure.

August 13: Bullish’s Tokenized Equity Trades as Silver Arrives Onchain

Bullish executed the first tokenized equity trades on a regulated digital asset exchange, using its own stock, $BLSH, which it tokenized on Solana.

Bullish CEO Tom Farley said the company was combining a regulated exchange, tokenization technology, and transfer agent infrastructure to create an integrated system for tokenized equities.

On the same day, Sunrise listed $SILV on Solana, bringing physical silver issued by Dominion Market to major Solana trading applications and wallets. The product expanded Solana's tokenized commodity market beyond gold and into physical silver.

August 14: Bitwise Plans Tokenized Solana ETF

Bitwise announced plans to tokenize its Solana Staking ETF, BSOL, in partnership with Superstate. $BSOL is expected to become the first Bitwise fund to receive a tokenized structure, while other Bitwise ETFs could potentially follow.

The initiative reflects the growing convergence between conventional exchange-traded funds and blockchain-based ownership and settlement infrastructure.

August 17: JurassicFi Launches Deaton Raise

JurassicFi launched its fundraising campaign for Deaton, a museum-grade Triceratops dinosaur skull and the first tokenized dinosaur fossil on Solana. The project has reached 59% of its $660,000 fundraising target.

Deaton contains approximately 60% to 65% complete bone mass and retains all 3 original horns. The project represents one of the more unusual applications of tokenization, extending the model beyond financial assets and conventional collectibles into scientific and historical artifacts.

August 18: Securitize and Neuberger Bring Fixed Income Onchain

Securitize and Neuberger launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund, known as HINC, on Solana.

The fund brings exposure to high-yield bonds, collateralized loan obligations, and leveraged loans from Neuberger's $230 billion fixed income platform onto blockchain infrastructure.

August 21: Shinhan Builds a KRW Tokenized Fund

Shinhan Asset Management, which manages more than $100 billion in assets, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation, Etherfuse, and Orca.

The partners plan to test issuing and distributing a Korean won-denominated tokenized fund on Solana using a structure similar to BlackRock's BUIDL.

August 24: Virtuals Introduces AI Agent Tokenization

Virtuals Protocol launched AI agent tokenization on Solana. The system allows users to launch an AI agent, raise capital for its development, fund its intelligence, deploy it onchain, and participate in its economic performance.

August 26: Bitwise Expands Tokenized Stock Portfolios

Bitwise announced plans to launch tokenized stock portfolios for eligible non-U.S. investors. The structure will allow users to hold U.S. stocks directly in crypto wallets, further connecting conventional equity ownership with digital asset infrastructure.

The move follows Bitwise's plans to tokenize $BSOL and suggests that the asset manager sees tokenization as a broader framework for distributing investment products.

August 27: Phygitals Tokenizes Historic Manga

Phygitals announced the tokenization of what it described as the first manga in history to receive a tokenized representation. The asset consists of a graded 1997 magazine featuring the debut of Luffy from One Piece. The publication predates Volume 1 of the manga, and only 118 graded copies exist worldwide.

Phygitals sealed one copy inside a pack, extending the platform's focus on tokenized physical collectibles and demonstrating how blockchain infrastructure can connect scarce cultural artifacts with digital ownership systems.

August 30: Tokenized Equity Supply Reaches New High

Solana's tokenized equity market continued expanding toward the end of the month.

Tokenized Eq

Tokenized equity supply on the network reached a weekly all-time high of nearly $518 million, highlighting continued growth in the amount of traditional equity represented through onchain assets.

Broader Trends: Tokenization Expands Beyond Equities

August showed that Solana's tokenization market continues to diversify. Tokenized equities remained an important part of the ecosystem, but growth also accelerated across commodities, credit funds, fixed income, collectibles, and alternative digital assets.

Tokenized gold emerged as one of the strongest commodity categories. According to Birdeye data, Solana's tokenized gold supply increased by 689% from August 2025, giving the network the largest growth rate among tracked chains over the period.

Credit funds also recorded significant growth. Token Terminal data showed that Solana recorded the largest year-to-date increase in tokenized credit funds, adding $446 million in market capitalization and bringing the category's total to $642.1 million.

Sol Tokenized Credit

Solana's growth in tokenized credit funds exceeded the combined gains recorded across every other tracked blockchain. Monad followed with $107.1 million in additional market capitalization, while Arbitrum added $82.9 million.

August therefore marked another step in the maturation of Solana's tokenization ecosystem. Institutional funds, regulated equities, commodities, credit products, collectibles, and digital businesses all found new applications for blockchain-based ownership and settlement.
