A memecoin called Super Inu ($SI) has turned Donald Trump’s decision to rename artificial intelligence into an unexpected crypto market catalyst. $SI, a memecoin paired with tokenized Nvidia stock ($NVDAx) and launched on StonkFun, hit an all-time-high market cap of $60.9 million after Trump pushed “Super Intelligence” as the new name for AI.
The token has since pulled back from that peak but still trades just above $45 million at press time, according to JTX data, representing a roughly 130% increase over 24 hours.
Trump’s Polls & Executive Order Set the Narrative in Motion
The connection started on September 19, when President Trump posted a poll on Truth Social asking followers to choose a new name for artificial intelligence, arguing that the term did not accurately describe the technology.

A subsequent poll then asked users to choose between ‘Super Intelligence’ and ‘Superior Intelligence’

That sequence gave the phrase “Super Intelligence” a growing public profile before Trump formally adopted it on September 22, telling the United Nations General Assembly that “from this point forward, all of United States documents, and hopefully the world’s, will be changed to use the much more accurate term ‘super’ as opposed to ‘artificial.’”
Yesterday, September 29, he signed an executive order titled “Inaugurating The Era Of Super Intelligence.” The order directs executive departments and agencies to use “Super Intelligence” and “SI” instead of “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in official correspondence, public communications, websites, reports, and other non-statutory documents, where legally permitted.

$SI Briefly Takes the StonkFun Lead
The attention pushed Super Inu past $ZCAT temporarily, making $SI the largest memecoin in the StonkFun ecosystem by market capitalization.
The token also sits within StonkFun's reward system, where token holders can receive rewards in the asset their coin trades against. More than $1.6 million in $NVDAx has now gone out to $SI holders as rewards.
StonkFun itself reports more than $85.7 million in cumulative rewards, with over 40.2 million holder payments distributed across 43,632 tokens and more than 2.73 million wallets since launch.

Artificial Inu Bleeds as “Super Intelligence” Takes Over
The “Super Intelligence” rebrand and surge of the $SI memecoin have created an ironic reversal for Artificial Inu ($AI), a leading memecoin in the Robinhood ecosystem.
Artificial Inu previously climbed to an all-time high of roughly $387 million in market cap on September 17. It has since fallen below $200 million, with DexScreener data putting its market cap at about $187 million at press time.

As Trump moved from polling alternative names to formally directing federal agencies to “not acknowledge the usage of “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in any applicable setting,” the narrative around $AI weakened. The result has been a sharp market repricing, although the move also highlights the volatility that can accompany memecoins whose valuations depend heavily on rapidly changing narratives.
