Solana Foundation, Google Cloud Unveil Pay.sh, Bringing Enterprise-Scale Infrastructure to the Agentic Economy
Google Cloud APIs are now one stablecoin transaction away from any autonomous agent in the world.

Joining forces with Google Cloud, the Solana Foundation has launched Pay.sh, a unified coordination layer and marketplace for agent-to-API commerce.
Pay.sh effectively abstracts away the ‘human in the loop’, giving AI agents access to Google Cloud APIs like Gemini, BigQuery, and VertexAI using Solana’s stablecoin rails.
What is Pay.sh?
Launched by the Solana Foundation, Pay.sh is a unified marketplace and coordination layer designed to accelerate the Agentic Economy and give onchain agents access to some of Big Tech’s most powerful APIs.
While Solana’s existing x402 stack enabled an abundance of creative and innovative applications, the sector’s growth has been somewhat capped by a lack of enterprise-scale tools.
Typically, industry-standard APIs are gatekept behind human-controlled constraints like KYC, account and subscription management.
Pay.sh changes this landscape, combining Solana’s existing agentic stack with the best that Google Cloud has to offer. For the first-time, AI agents can discover, access, and pay for enterprise-scale APIs on a per-request basis using stablecoins on Solana without needing to wait for the ‘human in the loop’.
What Can Builders Expect?
Using Pay.sh, AI Agents can browse a unified marketplace of API endpoints, receive a live rate, and pay directly from its Solana balance. Users need only onramp funds using stablecoins or a a credit card
Operating as an API proxy built on Google Cloud Platform, Pay.sh sits is compatible with a range of industry-leading services like Gemini, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and BigTable. Where users previously needed human oversight, an agent's Solana wallet now functions as its identity, enabling agentic commerce at unprecedented scale.

When an agent calls an API via the x402 protocol, Pay.sh handles payment settlement and gateway authorization on its behalf, applying rate limits, quotas, and access controls without requiring the agent to hold a Google account or rotate credentials.
Pay.sh is built on crypto’s two leading machine-native payment protocols: x402 and MPP. These are open rails, meaning any developer, protocol, or API facilitator can build on top of them. Settlement happens in seconds using stablecoins over Solana's high-throughput network, with providers ultimately receiving funds in fiat after reconciliation.
Can Google Cloud Revive X402 Volume on Solana?
Solana Foundation’s Pay.sh launch comes at a critical moment for the network’s agentic economy. Despite an exploratory surge of adoption in the beginning of the year, x402 activity on all chains has slowed significantly in recent months.

According to Dune Analytics data, Solana’s x402 volume has struggled to maintain their initial growth trajectory.

However, despite diminishing volumes, Solana still dominates rival chains in terms of transactions, suggesting that while volume has dropped, the network remains crypto’s preferred venue for Agentic commerce.
Google Cloud integrations effectively raise the ceiling on what can be achieved within the agentic economy, bringing institutional-standard infrastructure and services to an emerging, experimental field.
