Solana Breakpoint is just around the corner and the agenda is stacked. From DePin and DeFi to venture and institutional adoption, every sector in Solana’s expansive ecosystem will be present and accounted for.

Breakpoint often plays host to Solana’s grandest announcements. Last year, Jupiter revealed the $JUP airdrop, which ended up the ecosystem’s biggest TGE in 2024. This year, attendees eagerly anticipate announcements and details surrounding Firedancer. The new validator client is expected to bring unprecedented levels of scalability and decentralization to the network.

Side Events

This year, Solana Breakpoint falls hot on the trails of Token2049, one of the biggest events in the crypto calendar. A cluster of spectacular side events bridge the gap between the two events, giving attendees the chance to dive deeper into their favorite niches of the Solana ecosystem.

Stakepoint, Presented by Marinade

Marinade Finance, one of Solana’s oldest staking providers, kicks things off on September 19th with Stakepoint. The event serves as an ideal curtain-raiser to the main event, with Stakepoint finishing just in time for Breakpoint registration.

Stakepoint promises to be an illuminating event that will shed light on the intricacies of Solana staking. Alongside educational panels and engaging demos, Stakepoint will dive into the future of staking, exploring the impact and opportunities presented by SWQoS, MEV, and Solana’s upcoming Firedance client.

On top of technical explanations, Marinade will also use the event to demonstrate the role traditional and institutional players will play in Solana’s staking and their implications of the landscape through 2025 and beyond.

DePIN Asia

Throughout 2024, Solana has established itself as the home of DePIN. The network boasts some of the biggest DePIN protocols in the industry, led by the likes of Render, Helium, and Hivemapper.

Hosted by Helium & Hivemapper, the DePIN Asia event brings together some of the key players contributing to this thriving sector. For people looking to expect their professional network in DePIN, this event is not to be missed.

DeFi Day

Running parallel to Marinade’s Stakepoint, DeFi Day offers a deep dive into Solana’s evolving MEV landscape. The event is expected to feature a keynote presentation from Anatoly Yakovenko, and is sponsored by some of Solana’s biggest DeFi names, including Jito Labs and Kamino.

The Riverhouse

Solana’s NFT fans have had a tough year. Fortunately for JPEG enthusiasts, Claynosaurz, Solana Monkey Business, and Tensorians have joined forces to give beleaguered NFT traders some much needed relief.

The event provides an excellent opportunity for Solana’s NFT crowd to network with like-minded traders and discuss the trends and future of Solana’s NFT scene.

Impact Star Atlas Summit

For Solana’s gaming crowd, Star Atlas is set to deliver the biggest event of the week. One of Solana’s biggest crypto games, the Star Atlas summit brings together hundreds of Star Atlas players and crypto gaming enthusiasts.
