Seeker Developer Count Rises 106% QoQ Amidst Solana dApp Store Boom

Over 780 dApps have been launched on Seeker

The Seeker economy is thriving, with developer activity exploding to new all-time highs following the launch of the $SKR token.

While many crypto projects struggle to retain users after an airdrop, $SKR has had the opposite effect. Inspired by a powerful economic flywheel, the Solana dApp store now boasts over 784 dApps, rewarding users and developers on both sides of the ecosystem.

Meanwhile, $SKR staking rates remain solid in the face of volatile markets, suggesting strong long-term alignment amongst holders.

Seeker Development Activity Explodes in Q1

One of the crypto industry’s most ambitious experiments in recent years, the Solana Seeker’s crypto-native, mobile first economy has gained tremendous momentum in 2026. According to a recent Blockworks report, the number of developers building on Seeker witnessed 106% QoQ growth, with 443 contributors joining the ecosystem.

Courtesy of an influx of new developers, the Solana dApp Store welcomed over 308 new listings, bringing the total number of apps to 784.

Beyond app development, Seeker users also appear to be representing a growing share of Solana’s onchain activity. Blockwork’s report suggests that Seeker-based swaps account for 2% of total DEX volume, and 0.3% of stablecoin transfers.

DAU Rises After $SKR Airdrop

Contrary to the popular belief that token airdrops are a death sentence for protocol activity, the Solana Seeker has proven that a sustainable flywheel design can actually have the opposite effect.

Unlike the common exodus of users and mercenary capital that often follows a token airdrop, Seeker activity among both developers and users is higher than it was TGE. This suggests consistent, organic usage among participants, driven by surging demand to participate in a circular economy.

According to Dune Analytics data, Seeker DAU (Daily Active Users) remains higher than it was during the phone’s Season 1 rewards campaign. Over 10,000 Seeker users are signing onchain transactions using their biometrics every single day, with a reported 73.3% of users executing over 5 transactions per day.

Seeker’s blossoming user base is rapidly becoming one of its most valuable assets. After attending Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in March, Solana Mobile General Manager Emmett Hollyer remarked that OEM were “genuinely impressed” at the traction and loyalty that Seeker had been able to generate in a short period of time.

70% of Circulating $SKR is Staked

While geopolitical turmoil has inflicted chaos and volatility across global markets, $SKR stakers refuse to be shaken out of their resolve.

According to Solscan data, the Seeker Staking Vault holds over 4.37B $SKR tokens, representing 71.4% of the token’s circulating supply. $SKR’s high staking concentration demonstrates a strong sense of long-term alignment with Seeker’s goals, with contributors eager to support an ambitious ecosystem attempting to tackle the entrenched mobile duopoly.

Beyond Seeker, Solana Mobile appears to be actively exploring how to expand its reach through additional devices. At Solana Breakpoint 2025, Hollyer announced that Solana Mobile was actively collaborating with leading mobile manufacturers like MediaTek, Trustonic, and FXTech to widen the scope of its hardware partners.
