The first-ever Solana AI Hackathon, organized by SendAI, has concluded, and the results have been announced. The event reaffirmed Solana's leading position in the AI-powered blockchain space, with a record-breaking 400+ projects submitted. The hackathon highlighted transformative projects that demonstrated the potential of AI applications built on Solana's high-performance infrastructure.
Solana AI: Leading Across Chains
Franklin Templeton's latest report emphasized Solana's prominence in the AI-agent landscape, with 70% of the highlighted projects based on the Solana blockchain. This reflects the chain's unparalleled appeal for developers combining AI and decentralized technologies.
Hackathon Rewards
The Solana AI Hackathon brought together developers from around the world, culminating in 21 winners across multiple categories. Over $275,000 in prizes and 3.3 million SEND tokens were awarded to teams whose projects pushed the boundaries of what is possible with AI on blockchain.
Overall Best Projects
1st Place: The Hive
Hive secured $60,000 in rewards for winning the AI hackathon and is focusing on building a network of DeFi agents. This network will allow users to conduct transactions directly from their own wallets. Users can query on-chain trading data, perform sentiment analysis, and execute swaps on Jupiter, all in a single query. This innovative solution is powered by SendAI's Solana Agent Kit.
2nd Place: FXN
FXN won $30,000 in rewards for being the runner-up in the Solana AI hackathon. It is a network designed for sharing agent resources that aim to break down traditional silos and make valuable digital resources accessible to any AI agent, regardless of its framework or origin.
At its core, FXN operates as a peer-to-peer resource-sharing protocol. This protocol allows agents to share their capabilities securely through Resource Agents. Each Resource Agent can grant temporary subscriptions to its capabilities, maintaining complete control over what is shared and who can access it.
3rd Place: JailbreakMe
Jailbreakme is an innovative, open-source, decentralized application designed for organizations to rigorously test their AI models and agents. Users are incentivized to identify vulnerabilities and successfully "jailbreak" these systems, with a total of $174,000 in rewards already distributed. Jailbreak earned the title of second runner-up, securing $20,000 in rewards.
We will explore the 1st place winner in each track below.
Infrastructure
Winner: AgentiPy
AgentiPy, the 1st prize winner in the Agents Infra Track of the Solana AI Hackathon, securing $15,000 in rewards, is an open-source Python framework connecting AI agents to Solana. It allows agents to perform actions like SPL transfers, staking, and token launches—all within Python—bridging the gap between AI's dominant language and blockchain integration.
Trading Agents
Winner: Project Plutus
Project Plutus, the 1st prize winner in the "Trading Agents" track, securing $15,000 in rewards, is an AI-driven platform designed to simplify and optimize DeFi strategies. Combining Trading AI Agents for automated portfolio management and Analytic AI Agents for token, wallet, and project analysis, Plutus empowers users with intelligent, seamless, and profitable trading experiences in the DeFi space.
DeFi Agents
Winner: Cleopetra
Cleopetra, the 1st prize winner in the "DeFi Agents" track securing $15,000 in rewards, is an AI-powered platform that simplifies liquidity provisioning (LPing) on decentralized exchanges. It identifies optimal pools, sets up positions, and actively manages them to maximize profits while minimizing impermanent loss, making LPing accessible and efficient for everyone.
Agent Token Tooling track
Winner: Dungeon Dot Cash
Dungeon Dot Cash, winner of the "Agent Token Tooling" track at the Solana AI Hackathon with $15,000 in rewards, is a decentralized AI-powered RPG. Players battle for opponents' liquidity, blending gaming, crypto, and AI in a unique, competitive experience.
Out of over 400 projects from the Solana AI Hackathon, 102 have launched tokens to raise funds for development. These tokenized projects have collectively reached a market cap of $743 million, highlighting the growing impact and innovation stemming from the hackathon's participants.
