STEPN GO and adidas expand on their April 2024 debut with a new Genesis NFT Sneaker collection, blending digital collectibles with fitness rewards.

Once a leading star of the last crypto bull run with its pioneering "walk-to-earn" model, STEPN is making strides again.
FSL, the developers behind STEPN GO, recently unveiled an expansion of their collaboration with adidas, introducing the exclusive STEPN GO x adidas Genesis NFT Sneaker collection. This represents the second phase of their year-long partnership, which initially kicked off in April 2024 with the launch of the first STEPN x adidas Genesis Sneakers.
This latest Genesis collection seeks to merge the worlds of fitness and digital fashion, offering 1,000 exclusive sneakers available through STEPN GO and a raffle mint on MOOAR, FSL's NFT marketplace. Each raffle entry is set at 10,000 GMT, with provisions for full refunds for those who don't secure a win.
This continued partnership highlights adidas' ongoing exploration of the intersection between wearables and the Web3 space, with hints of more exciting ventures on the horizon.
Yawn Rong, Co-Founder of FSL, commented on the collaboration, stating, "This next partnership phase with adidas allows us to further integrate digital collectibles and fitness rewards. We're enthusiastic about continuing to push the boundaries of what's possible in the Web3 lifestyle space."
The new sneaker collection builds on the success of the April 2024 launch of STEPN x adidas, which introduced co-branded Genesis Sneaker NFTs on Solana. That initial drop offered exclusive perks for holders, including priority access through an allowlist system for adidas and FSL community members, such as OG & Genesis holders and those with specific badges. The collaboration attracted significant attention, blending physical fitness incentives with digital fashion through NFT.
Earlier this year, in May, STEPN expanded its reach by launching the STEPN app on the Solana Mobile Saga dApp store. This strategic move positions them to tap into the growing user base of Solana's upcoming phone, the "Solana Seeker," which has already garnered over 140,000 pre-orders.
STEPN has been consistently introducing innovations and strategic partnerships in an effort to regain the strong user base it once enjoyed during its early rise.
