Despite the meta’s collapse, Solana’s most dedicated teams have their noses to the grindstone, shipping meaningful new use cases for the network’s AI Agents.
Partnering with Griffain, Solana’s AI superapp, Marinade Finance is making Solana staking easier than ever before.
How can network participants use Griffain to earn Solana’s highest native staking APY, and what could this integration lead to in the future?
Marinade Simplifies Staking with Agentic AI
Marinade Finance, Solana’s oldest staking provider, is taking bold steps towards making crypto more accessible. Throughout its latest integration with Griffain, a Solana-based AI Agent Engine, Marinade enables users to stake their $SOL directly to a virtual validator using written commands.

Typically, staking $SOL to a validator can be a cumbersome and unintuitive process. First-time users trying to stake $SOL through a crypto wallet are often bombarded with validators and jargon, making it difficult to know where to deposit their assets.
Marinade’s new Griffain integration eliminates this step, effectively streamlining the process and helping users natively stake their $SOL. The platform automatically creates a stake account for the user and directs deposited $SOL to Marinade, which offers the network’s highest native staking APY and protected staking rewards.
While Griffain is largely unknown outside of cryptocurrency circles, the collaboration boasts massive potential. Consumer apps that integrate Griffain will be able to abstract away onchain complexities, enabling users to stake $SOL through text-based conversations with AI operators.
Marinade DAO core contributor Michael Repetny has hinted that the integration could help facilitate institutional-scale staking. Instead of outsourcing staking to third partners, institutional stakers may be able to operate their own intent-based validators.
Marinade Native Stake Up 27% YTD
Despite turbulent markets, Marinade native staking has enjoyed consistent growth in 2025. Marinade’s 2025 inflows are largely driven by the generous rewards offered through its innovative Stake Auction Marketplace (SAM).
According to Dune Analytics, Marinade’s native stake has increased by 27.73% YTD, rising from 3,548,536 $SOL to currently constitute around 4,532,627 $SOL.
While network activity has dropped since January highs, Marinade has maintained over 9% native staking APY. With over 9.23M $SOL staked to the SAM, Marinade accounts for over 2.41% of all staked $SOL across the Solana network.
Marinade has also introduced an Alpha launch of its first-of-its-kind referral program aimed at encouraging sustainable staking practices within the Solana ecosystem. Users who engage in native staking on Marinade via partnered platforms will receive an additional 12.5 basis points (bps), enhancing already competitive staking rewards. The program is expected to expand further, with more partnerships and announcements anticipated in the near future.
