Solana Labs’ Leap Launches High-Performance Mobile Trading App

Built by the team behind Dialect, Leap brings tokenized stocks, ETFs, metals, and cryptocurrencies into a single mobile trading app.

  • Published:

Leap, a Solana Labs company, has launched a new mobile trading app designed to bring tokenized stocks, ETFs, metals, currencies, and cryptocurrencies into a single platform.

Built by the team behind Dialect, Leap aims to provide retail traders with an informed trading experience through market insights, straightforward execution, and precise profit and loss (P&L) tracking.

The app announced its beta launch on November 5 and is now available through public TestFlight on iOS. Android support will follow. Leap builds on Solana's broader ambition to become the underlying network for internet capital markets. Rather than focusing on short-term memecoin speculation, the app targets traders who want to make informed decisions and participate in financial markets over longer periods.

"The network is ready for every kind of market. What matters now are the products that help people use it well and keep them coming back. Every app that brings new people onchain makes the whole ecosystem stronger, and Leap is built to do that for the long run." - Anatoly Yakovenko, Co-Founder and CEO, Solana Labs

Leap Targets a Different Trading Experience

Leap takes a different approach from the fast-paced, short-term trading activity that initially attracted many users to Solana. The app combines market research, trading, and portfolio tracking to help users understand market movements and monitor their performance.

Its research team curates important market stories and marks them directly on price charts, while its markets cover tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, currencies, cryptocurrencies, and millions of Solana tokens, with trading available 24 hours a day, subject to restrictions. Users can execute spot trades through one-tap onchain swaps by entering a dollar amount, while its P&L system tracks deposits, withdrawals, trades, and fees to display actual returns and breakeven prices for individual positions.

“With Leap, we're bringing that work to the people who trade. The Solana blockchain now confirms a trade in about 150 milliseconds thanks to Alpenglow, so the network is now faster than ever. Our job is to get the rest right, from the infrastructure to the app itself, so traders can make better decisions and see how they're really doing. That's what high performance means to us.” - Chris Osborn, General Manager, Leap

Jupiter, Helius, and Birdeye Support the App At Launch

Leap worked with several Solana ecosystem teams to build its trading infrastructure. Jupiter provides trade routing, Helius supports infrastructure, and Birdeye supplies market data. The company expects to introduce additional partners as the app develops.

Leap also plans to direct future fees toward buying and burning $SOL and rewarding users who refer others to the platform. However, the app does not charge any fees right now. Network and routing costs still apply, and Leap displays these costs before users confirm transactions.

Dialect Team Brings Previous Solana Experience

The team behind Leap previously developed Dialect, known for creating Solana Actions and Blinks. Dialect launched Actions and Blinks in June 2024 to make blockchain transactions accessible through familiar platforms, including websites, social media applications, and QR codes.

Actions allow developers to integrate Solana transactions into existing applications, while Blinks turn those actions into shareable links that users can interact with without navigating to a separate blockchain application. Dialect also contributed to X's popular cashtags feature.

Solana Labs acquired Dialect earlier in 2026 to develop Leap as a new business under its umbrella.

Leap Opens Beta Access With Referral Rewards

Leap is available on iPhone through public TestFlight, with Android support coming soon. Users who join the waitlist at leap.xyz become members of the Leap Founders Club, gaining referral codes and early access to new features.

Once Leap introduces trading fees, eligible members will earn 30% of fees generated by their direct referrals and 5% from their referrals' invites, subject to eligibility requirements and terms. The app is unavailable in the United Kingdom and other restricted regions.
