Solana Breakpoint 2025: Key Announcements and Stories from Saturday

Day Three maintained the high expectations with announcements from Solflare, Solana Mobile, and Colosseum, among others.

It was said that this year’s Breakpoint would be Solana’s biggest conference yet, and I’m sure none of the several thousand delegates that made their way to the Etihad Arena this week would disagree with that sentiment.

Saturday’s session featured a diverse set of updates highlighting Solana’s continued expansion across hardware, real-world assets, and institutional finance, as well as side events such as Predictify, hosted by Kalshi.

The last day of Breakpoint 2025 delivered a mix of hackathon results, product demonstrations, and strategic commitments that underscored the network’s growing role as a settlement layer for both digital and traditional assets.

Here’s what you missed if you’re not in Abu Dhabi:

At Breakpoint

  1. Colosseum has announced winners for its Cypherpunk hackathon

  • Unruggable, the Solana-native hardware wallet, is crowned grand champion.

  1. Uranium Digital demoed their product, which enables institutions to buy Uranium onchain for the first time.

  • Settlement is happening fully on Solana

  • The entire crypto experience is abstracted

  1. RockawayX launches 3 vaults on Solana.

  • Risk-curated RWA vault on Kamino

  • Additional vaults on Exponent Finance and MidasRWA

  • Partners with Figure, Onre, Solstice, and Huma as professional curators for these vaults.

  1. Solana Mobile is expanding beyond its own devices to additional hardware.

  • Working with FXTech, MediaTek, and Trustonic to integrate the Solana Mobile stack at the chipset level for other Android devices.

  • MediaTek ships roughly 50% of all Android devices globally.

  1. Splyce Finance introduces $SFULC on Solana.

  • $SFULC is a yield-bearing token offering 10% APY powered by Fulcrum Lending

  • Powered by real cash flows from senior, secured multifamily credit.

  • $SFULC can be minted with stablecoins or bought directly on Raydium.

  1. VC Firm 6th Man Ventures announces that it is focused on Solana.

  • Mike Dudas, Founder and General Partner, says, “You want to be where the users, developers, and technologists are”.

  1. WisdomTree, an asset manager with $140 billion in AUM, plans to launch yield-bearing vaults on Solana.

  1. Streamflow launches $USD+, a yield-bearing stablecoin, on Solana.

    • USD+ is powered by M0 and fully backed by US Treasuries.

  1. Render Network launches Dispersed

  • Dispersed is a decentralized GPU compute platform aggregating thousands of globally distributed GPUs to address the AI compute shortage.

  • Pilot users include OTOY Studio and Scrypted.

  1. Layer33 announces that $IndieSOL, its liquid staking token, is now live.

  • Layer33 is a collective of 25 independent validators committed to maintaining Solana’s network decentralization.

  • Fees generated by $IndieSOL will be directed to support Layer33.

  1. Solflare launches Magic AI.

  • Magic AI is a decentralized, intent-driven assistant that understands plain-language commands and executes onchain actions.

  • With Magic, you simply describe what you want. “Swap all my $USDC for $SOL when $SOL falls below 150.” Magic turns these natural instructions into precise, secure, on-chain actions.

  1. Moonbirds, the NFT Collection, announces the launch of the $birb token in Q1 2026

  • $birb will launch on Solana.

Outside of Breakpoint

  1. Solana ETFs have now recorded 11 consecutive days of net inflows. Inflows totalled $2.5 million yesterday.

  • VanEck’s $VSOL had the most inflows with $1.7 million.
