Jupiter Dominates Solana Lending Across 5 Key Metrics and Continues Expanding Its DeFi Stack
Jupiter holds 53% of weekly lending deposits, while Kamino expands wallet integrations, recruits senior executives, and develops institutional credit products in a bid to win back market share.

Jupiter Lend has emerged as Solana's leading lending protocol across 5 key metrics: total deposits, total loans, utilization rate, stablecoin deposits, and stablecoin loans. Blockworks data show that Jupiter holds $2.78 billion in total deposits and $1.12 billion in outstanding loans, compared with Kamino's $2.17 billion in deposits and $855 million in loans. Jupiter also records a 40.34% utilization rate, narrowly ahead of Kamino's 39.31%.

The gap widens in stablecoin lending. Jupiter holds $1.33 billion in stablecoin deposits and $907 million in stablecoin loans. Kamino records $652 million in stablecoin deposits and $532 million in stablecoin loans.
Jupiter also leads in weekly lending deposits. After overtaking Kamino in June 2026, Jupiter now commands 53% of deposits, compared with Kamino's 41%.

The figures mark a significant shift in Solana's lending market, where Kamino has established itself as a major credit platform.
Kamino Is Losing Market Share, but Ramps Up Its Efforts
Despite Jupiter's growing lead, Kamino continues to secure integrations with prominent Solana products. In August, Solana Mobile introduced a $USDC Earn Vault within its Seeker smartphone's Seed Vault Wallet. The product allows users to supply $USDC to Kamino's lending infrastructure and earn yield without leaving the wallet, with no lockups or withdrawal fees.
Earlier today, Solflare introduced Earn, its new product that lets users supply $USDC to Kamino's lending markets and earn interest directly on the wallet.
These integrations show why market share alone doesn't tell the whole story. Kamino continues to position its lending infrastructure as a service that wallets and consumer applications can incorporate into their products.
Jupiter Keeps Expanding Its DeFi Stack
Jupiter is not standing still after taking the lending lead. Earlier today, in true superapp fashion, the exchange launched Jupiter Bridge in beta. The bridge aggregator compares rates across Relay, Mayan, Circle CCTP, NEAR, and other providers to help users find competitive routes when moving assets to and from Solana.
The launch adds another service to Jupiter's expanding DeFi ecosystem, which already spans a multitude of different products.
As Jupiter expanded beyond its core DEX Aggregator business into lending, wallet, and other products, some observers questioned whether the team was spreading itself too thin and risking a loss of focus. Its current dominance in the lending sector has challenged those doubts. However, its original dominance among DEX Aggregators is slipping, with Blockworks data showing volume share going from as high as 94% in February 2026 to around 60% currently. Jupiter is also facing stiff competition from GMTrade, Pacifica and others in the perps market.

It remains to be seen whether the Solana superapp can maintain its lead in lending and reclaim ground as the OG DEX Aggregator or whether its growing product suite will stretch its competitive advantage too far.
