J.P. Morgan Brings $MONY and $JLTXX Tokenized Funds to Solana

The expansion gives qualified U.S. investors access to 2 tokenized money market funds on Solana as the bank deepens its involvement in onchain financial infrastructure.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has brought its tokenized money market funds, My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX), to Solana, expanding access to both products across blockchain networks.

Announced on October 22, the deployment allows qualified U.S. investors to access the funds through Morgan Money, J.P. Morgan Asset Management's trading and analytics platform for liquidity management. Investors can subscribe to and redeem the funds through the platform and receive token balances in their Solana wallets.

The move expands J.P. Morgan’s existing Ethereum offerings to Solana. MONY launched on Ethereum in December 2025, followed by JLTXX in May 2026, with both funds already available through Morgan Money.

What MONY and JLTXX Offer Investors

Although both funds tokenize money market investments, they serve different purposes. MONY is a 506(c) private placement fund that gives qualified investors exposure to U.S. dollar yields. The fund launched in December 2025, making J.P. Morgan the largest bank to launch a tokenized money market fund on a public blockchain at the time.

JLTXX, meanwhile, is a U.S.-registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers' reserve investments under the GENIUS Act. Its investment strategy focuses on short-dated U.S. Treasury securities and overnight repurchase agreements fully collateralized by Treasuries and/or cash.

The fund's factsheet lists a $1 million minimum investment. Access to both products remains subject to their respective eligibility requirements.

J.P. Morgan's Role in Solana's Institutional Push

The expansion follows another development involving the bank and Solana's financial infrastructure. Earlier in October, the Solana Foundation launched Solana DvP, an open-source delivery-versus-payment program designed to standardize onchain settlement of assets and payments for financial institutions. J.P. Morgan contributed input on securities settlement practices and institutional requirements during development. That input helped shape requirements involving escrow isolation, settlement deadlines, and token extensions used by regulated issuers.

J.P. Morgan's expansion of its funds to Solana adds established institutional investment products to Solana's growing onchain financial ecosystem. By supporting multiple blockchains through Morgan Money, J.P. Morgan can accommodate clients operating across different onchain environments without requiring them to abandon the firm's existing liquidity-management platform.
