NATIX Network, a Solana-based DePIN and AI project, has launched its revolutionary new NATIX VX360 device.
Designed specifically for Tesla vehicles, the NATIX VX360 allows drivers to access and monetize their dashcam footage by contributing to geo-spatial mapmaking and autonomous driving research.
NATIX to Assist in Overcoming Autonomous Driving Hurdles
Self-driving cars were long considered the lofty ambition of a utopian future. However, the Autonomous Driving industry still faces significant obstacles and has struggled to reach Level 5 autonomy.
Despite the analysis drawn from decades of dashcam footage, autonomous vehicles are still incapable of fully comprehending and predicting the complexities of human behavior.
Household names like Nvidia and Uber have invested millions in synthetic simulations to try to understand human driving behavior, but nothing compares to the raw data from the streets themselves.
Harnessing Tesla’s iconic 360° dashcam footage and spatial awareness, NATIX gives Tesla drivers greater control and access to their collected footage. This allows drivers to monetize their footage while making meaningful contributions to Autonomous Driving research.
NATIX CEO and co-founder Alireza Ghods has championed the launch, highlighting how the VX360 will provide the self-driving vehicle industry with the required data to make key breakthroughs.
“Identifying several pain points that the autonomous vehicle industry and mapping projects have with the data necessary to make new technological breakthroughs led us to develop VX360 for a better and safer future. Building a 360° camera would come at an incredible cost, and we would have to face challenges such as camera setup, calibration, and more. Tapping into Tesla’s built-in 4x sensors with DePIN makes the data accessible, affordable, and immediate.” - Alireza Ghods., NATIX CEO and Co-founder.
How Can Drivers Earn Incentivized Rewards?
Boasting a network of over 180k drivers, the NATIX Data Network will implement the new VX360 device to create an organic, diverse dataset that will provide real-world insights into driver behavior.
Tesla drivers worldwide need only install the VX360 device in their vehicles and seamlessly upload it to the NATIX network. Leveraging the power of a public DePIN, NATIX offers accurate, actionable data at a fraction of the cost of a company-owned fleet.
Borderless Capital partner Alvaro Garcia has touted the DePIN approach as an extremely efficient growth model, outlining its benefits for both users and data consumers.
“The unique approach NATIX is taking with VX360 places it as the first DePIN project to enter the realm of autonomous driving and propose a new angle to making data that was previously scarce, widely available. NATIX is a prime example of how DePIN innovation can provide an efficient alternative to infrastructure-heavy verticals, where both users and data consumers can benefit.” - Alvaro Garcia, Partner at Borderless Capital
Through the NATIX Data Network, Tesla Driver will be empowered to earn $NATIX rewards, as well as other non-crypto incentives. Beyond providing crucial data pertaining to human behavior, NATIX will also collect comprehensive street-level mapping data.
To protect both users and the general public, all collected data will be subject to AI-powered anonymization to remove personal identifiers. Users will also have full access and control over the data they provide, allowing them to define private zones around sensitive locations.
The NATIX VX360 device is currently available for pre-order via the official NATIX Network website.
